This World Globe is so awesome, for me, it's a lamp and globe in one, the color is exactly like the picture, pretty and blue like a clean ocean. Comes with a charger, and you only need to charge it, not keep it plugged in. So beautiful, purchased another Globe for a present for my brother, he was stunned when he opened it, in amazement. He loves it also.

Beautiful and good quality. Excellent reference globe for general interest or school, all ages. The sophisticated world traveler I bought it for loves it, and it’s part of his room decor. One suggestion: it might have an easier electrical connection underneath.

My mom wanted a globe because when she watched the news she wanted to be able to find where the countries they were talking about are located. She was surprised and delighted to find that it lights up since back in her day globes were probably very basic. Her one request was that the words were big enough for her to read. She doesn't seem to have trouble with the size of the words and the light definitely helps. I'd imagine both children and adults would find this globe helpful and educational.

Gorgeous globe that I had been waiting for, but when I tried to plug in the power cord, the receptacle had fallen into the globe's interior so I'm guessing it was not well made nor secured. Returning same day for another brand.

I am very disappointed in this product. I bought it for my granddaughter's birthday this September. We decided to wait until Hanukkah to give it to her. As I put it together yesterday I found 1 particularly general problem. The metal frame that the globe rotates within is so loose that it is hard to keep the globe in a natural position because the globe keeps rotating. I tried to tighten the side connections but that didn't work. I put 3 washers under the top bolt and that helped a little. I wish I could send it in for a refund, however it is way to late for that.

Love it and is well made very sturdy. Worth every dollar.
