Almost certainly not. I suggest that you refer back to your doctor I am not a healthcare professional but I think you may have misunderstood him. It is about a million times higher than the dose I would have expected. "Each tablet contains 400 IU or 10 micro grams" to quote from he box and the dose is "one to two capsules daily or as advised by a healthcare professional".

These are 17p each, not 9p.
