Bought these for my son who works in a fast food restaurant. His year old "Shoes for Crews" shoes literally fell to pieces the other week. He wanted something with good non-slip properties and a safety toe, but also a boot to support his ankles. These shoes arrived quickly and on trying them out, he found that they were a perfect fit. He is a 10.5 UK so I bought the 10 in this boot. He wore them straight out of the box (against my advice) for a 9 hour shift without breaking them in. However he reported back that they were comfortable with no rubbing or pinching, and even though he was standing the whole shift his ankles were fully supported and ache free at the end. The soles were just as slip resistant as he hoped and, as an added bonus over the previous shoes, the tread pattern is more open which means they do not get clogged up with grease and debris. This means they stay slip resistant through to the end of the shift, and now Dad doesn't have to spend 10 mins that night cleaning out of the grooves with a knife! By amazing coincidence, the week after we bought them a heavy steel container fell over and landed on his foot. Thankfully the reinforced toe of these boots protected him from any injury and didn't even show a mark where the metal hit. They were such a good find and at less than a 5th of the price of his last pair of work shoes that I immediately ordered a second pair which will sit in the wardrobe until or if these wear out! I'm not sure I can give a better recommendation than that.

I am very impressed by these, especially at the price. I used to wear boots that cost nearly twice as much and had to be replaced every 6 months; these are much cheaper, every bit as comfortable, and even after a year of pretty heavy use they're still pretty decent. I recently bought another pair for everyday use, but I'll keep the old pair around to wear in the garden or doing DIY around the house.

I am an HGV driver, and frequently make deliveries to building sites, warehouses and othe tough environments. I’ve had a pair of these for a year of constant usage, and they’ve been brilliant. Several times they’ve saved my toes from injury (e.g. pallet truck running over them). They are also very comfortable, perfectly okay for driving, and I could walk miles in them and not feel discomfort. After a year of wear and tear they were looking slightly shabby with a couple of cuts in the outer surface (which would probably have resulted in injury to my feet had I been wearing ordinary boots), so I’ve replaced them with an identical pair. As they say in the description, the width is on the generous side so consider ordering a size lower, or put orthotic insoles in them like I have. Would definitely recommend.

I work at a wood burning stove shop, and so I bought these for when I get deliveries. I didn't want to pay through the roof for some boots I won't regularly wear, so I thought I would give these a go. For me, they are perfect, but for other situations they might not be... I'll go into that now. So, for short spells these boots are fine. Recently however, I did have to go out and help a fitter put a stove in a customer's house, and so I was wearing these boots for a couple of days, and this is when I noticed some problems with them if worn over many hours. My ankle on one foot was really squashed up, and over the course of the day it really started to get uncomfortable. However, when I was more active in the day, it didn't seem to be a problem. Secondly, the laces are really flimsy... They felt like they were going to snap just by doing them up, so it might be an idea to buy some better laces to swap out with the ones supplied. Thirdly, and this is a small gripe, they are pretty noisy, they kinda... squeek! Other than the above, they feel pretty comfortable on the whole. I guess after a period of 'breaking them in' the ankle discomfort would go away, and of course everybody's feet shape is different, so this might not even be a problem for you. The steel toecap is strong and sturdy, which is the main reason for buying shoes like this, and they fit pretty well when tying the laces nice and tight (hence the need to probably get better laces). I'll give them 3 stars for price and comfort for short periods of use, but I'd suspect most people buying these will use them for longer periods than I did, so maybe try elsewhere for something more comfy??

Boots arrived before the estimated delivery date, and upon opening the box the first thing I noticed is how light the boots are. But don't let the weight of the boots fool you, they are extremely tough and well made! I use them in a heavy traffic site so oil spills/water and threat of crushed feet is a possibility but these boots have perfomred excellently. There have been one or two reviews mentioning the 'squeak', I do have to admit that there is a slight squeak at first, this seems to be from the tongue of the boot as the tongue is fully connected up both sides to the boot itself to aid the water proof effectiveness. I must say though after wearing the boots at work for 1 week now I can't hear any squeaks at all so I guess they just needed 'breaking in'? So overall I would say that these boots are more than worth the money and give other brands priced upwards of £50+ a run for their money, I highly doubt you will be disappointed and at under £15 it's not going to break the bank.

Great boots, poor laces! Make sure to order a more durable set to match the boots. Otherwise tho chuffed eith them. Great for site/kitchen/rendering work.

Die Schuhe tragen sich sehr gut und sind gut verarbeitet. Bei der Größe sollte man jedoch immer ne Nummer kleiner bestellen als in normalen Sportschuhen.

Sicherheitsschuh von Blackrock. Haben dieses Paar für unseren Sohn zum zweiwöchigen Praktikum gekauft. Guter Sicherheitsschuh mit Stahlkappen, Oilresisstenz und antirutsch Funktion. Dachten uns für den Preis reichen diese völlig aus. Und wir wirden nicht enttäuscht. Die angefügten Bilder wurden nach dem Praktikum gemacht. Diese Schuhe sind daher also sehr gut für arbeiten in einer oeligen oder sehr schmutzigen Umgebung geeignet. Tragekomfort laut unseres Sohnes ist gut und drückt nicht. Schuhgröße 10 1/2 US. Schuhe werden jetzt für Gartenarbeiten weiter benutzt. Kein billiges Material aber auch nicht Hochwertig. Aber für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Passd scho👍
