Staar is a singing dancing modern-day mistress who trollops across stage accompanied by a four piece band and real live dancing boys! She wrote and produced the film "Staar: She'd Rather be a Mistress" starring Carrie Fisher, Jefffrey Tambor and Fabio. Her short film "Enfants Terribles", which she produced and stars in site Peter Facinelli and Chris Lloyd was a 2005/2006 official selection of the Chicago Film Festival (amongst others). Her acting credits include DETERRANCE for director Rod Lurie, SACRIFICE with Michael Madsen, BLOWBACK with Mario Van Peebles, and POLAR EXPRESS site Tom Hanks and BEOWULF with Anthony Hopkins. She wrote/produced/directed the critically accled documentary "Behind the Burly Q" the true story of old-time burlesque which was nominated for a 2010 Satellite nomination.
