Easy to follow and understand Excel when formal training is not within your reach.

I have a decent knowledge of Excel, but this book sits on my desk and is used more and more. It is a good reference and goes far beyond just the basics that you get in a lot of books like this. The examples are helpful, and the definitions are pretty clear. I wouldn't recommend reading it from "cover to cover" but as a desk reference it is great!

Disappointed that the illustrations are so light that you can barely see them, but really enjoy the information in the book

I thought I knew Excel. Nope this shows me so much more Great references and refresh of the program. So glad I ordered it.

I bought this book thinking I would just brush up on some basics, but I ended up learning so much more than I expected. It breaks down Excel in a way that makes sense and doesn’t feel overwhelming. Working through the exercises makes a big difference. It feels less like a textbook and more like a guide that actually teaches you how to use Excel in real situations.

Actually: its a fairly advanced text and probably very useful to someone who is already comfortable with The Basics.

Anyone who uses Excel on a regular basis could benefit from owning this book.
